Verify A/V delay

The WFM2300 can measure the synchronization of the SDI video signal and embedded or digital audio (AES/EBU) signal. The integrated video and audio test signal generator allows engineers to visualize AV delay throughout the entire signal path. In addition, propagation delay testing with the integrated signal generator helps minimize the system latency that is critical in live broadcast.

Measure Eye & Jitter at The Ins-and-Outs of A Mobile Production Facility

The integrity of cables and equipment can be measured by analysis of physical layer parameters. The automated measurement and Eye/Jitter displays available on the WFM2300, allows users to quickly create acceptance reports for their clients. The integrated stress loop adds an additional 20m of simulated cable to the signal path and provides further confidence on system margins to avoid the digital cliff and ensure the health of the signal.
